Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort

We booked very last minute for a 5day babymoon and found this to be really reasonably priced compared to other options so weren’t expected the world but we were so so incredibly surprised!! It’s a fantastic hotel, really great quality, so great that it’s split between family friendly side and adult only side (which we were on). The room was so clean and nice and felt luxury. The pool was fantastic, so clean and we loved the pool bar with excellent food, it was exactly all we needed to relax on a babymoon and just loved it. The breakfast was so great, one of the best hotel breakfast buffets we’ve had in a very long time and we travel a lot! Great underground safe car park with easy access up to rooms or lobby. For any golf lovers this is right on an incredible golf course and generally the hotel grounds are so well kept and lovely. It’s about 20-25min drive from Vale do lobo and Quinta do lago and we just drove to them each night for dinner out where there’s such a huge selection. We really couldn’t fault the hotel generally, the staff are so friendly and we had everything and more that we wanted to just chill out for 5 days.

The staff were brilliant, My son and I really enjoyed the hospitality. Breakfast was great and all the staff went over and beyond to make our stay memorable. The reception staff were all exceptional and our favourite was Miguel. Nothing was too much for him, and he always provided a service with a smile on his face. He really made our stay worthwhile. Thank you so much Miguel!

Adult pool excellent, comfy bed, design and room, AC, Service reception + pool bar area + breakfast, Coffee Station in room, size of room, amenities, cleanliness of hotel and room terrace, room service excellent service.

Everything was amazing but the customer service is the best ever – it is first class! They could not do more to help us enjoy our stay and make it unforgettable. It is an extremely clean, beautiful, comfortable and luxurious hotel, we had such a great time, can't wait to visit again soon! The shuttle bus to Marina is very convenient and the drivers make the journeys enjoyable. A perfect and relaxing place to have a holiday! Truly recommended!

huge room, extremely comfortable bed, luxurious toiletries and a beautiful pool area. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we really didnt want for anything. Breakfast was a highlight for my other half who is very demanding about these things! Plenty of choice, freshly cooked options and a delightful terrace to sit out on. We ate pool side a couple of lunchtimes which I really enjoyed too - extremely tasty food, lots of choice and a great wine selection. We didnt eat dinner in any of the restaurants but I'm sure they are good. Love the shuttle service! The pool area is comfortable and spacious and I like the addition of regular visits from staff with water and snacks!
